About Sports Massage
Is a sports massage for you? The short answer is yes. There is a perception that sports massages are only for athletes, but that is far from the truth. A sports massage is beneficial to most people, ranging from people that do little to no exercise up to elite athletes. During my time as a sports massage therapist, I have worked with clients that fall within these categories and sports massage has been hugely beneficial to them.
There is also a misconception that sports massage is all about pain but this is not true. There may be some pain involved but this would never be any sort of pain that will cause you severe discomfort, whilst massaging I also like to educate clients about what technique I am doing at the moment and how this will help them.
About Personal Training
Personal training is what it says in its name, it should be personal to you. It should be tailored to your lifestyle, your goals, your skill level, your fitness level, your diet, the list is endless. This is the aim of what we are looking to achieve. Set out clear and defined goals which have been agreed upon and are realistic. Assessment will be carried out regularly to ensure that the current programme is working if it is not working, why is this not working and making the necessary adaptations.
